Our Story
The Gilboa Herb Farm was established by Pnina and Yossi Mass who moved in 1982 from Yamit settlement in Sinai to the Gilboa area. Up until 1996 they have made a living growing and exporting fresh spice herbs.
The restaurant was established in 1994. Yossi built it with his own two hands, while Pnina learned how to cook of French, American and Italian chefs abroad.
As the restaurant’s diners feed local, home-made food and have local wine, they can feast their eyes with the vines of the orchard where the restaurant’s wine is produced.
Our Food
The Gilboa Herb Farm is a country-style Israeli restaurant set in the North of Israel. The restaurant’s kitchen staff produces a variety of high-quality dishes, made and served in a unique way. Each and every ingredient of the food is given special care, which makes for a very unique experience.
The menu is meat-oriented, with dishes prepared according to Israeli and Mediterranean traditions, adjusted to all types of meals: romantic, family, business and more. We support our environment by using local produce, including wines of the Galilee area, goat cheese from local dairies, and fish grown in the pools of the valley.
